Stalldalen

The mental asylum from the 1930-ies in Grelsby, Åland, underwent a total transformation. From patient rooms to 18 hotel rooms with a nordic summer atmosphere. Reclaimed material, vintage suit material for cushions and a totally ecological egg tempera paint on the walls. Pensionat Stalldalen received a Green Key award for the standard of sustainability.
